Gassenküche/ Cuisine Populaire poster420 x 594 mm, 2025
The poster created for the 35th anniversary of Gassenküche Biel / Cuisine populaire Biel is conceived as a visual message centered on encounter and community. At the heart of the project stands the dining table – a place of meeting. Sharing a meal is a moment in which people come together and set everything else aside, if only briefly. In this context, the table becomes a symbol of connection, exchange, and mutual respect.
The central element is shared food as a symbol of togetherness: sitting at one table, sharing a moment, and experiencing community across generations, backgrounds, and beliefs. This idea forms both the conceptual and visual foundation of the poster. The project was conceived within three days and developed under the constraint of a selected four-colour palette.
The submitted posters are currently being reviewed by a jury. A selection of projects will then be presented to the client, who will choose several works to be published and exhibited throughout the city of Biel in summer 2026.
