Dampfzentrale
4 posters, print
A3, 2024
For a commission from Dampfzentrale Bern, I developed four posters that visually translate the Code of Conduct – a set of rules for the cultural venue.I designed the individual rules as illustrations, playing with idioms to convey their messages in an understandable way. For example, one of the posters shows respect for personal boundaries in the form of a fragile soap bubble, inspired by the saying ‘personal bubble’. The Code of Conduct is intended to stimulate curiosity and reflection through the symbolic imagery of the illustrations. The result is posters that not only inform, but also invite people to think about their own behaviour in a communal, cultural space such as the Dampfzentrale.
